Reason for Giving.
One of the greatest ways we can worship the Lord is through giving. The giving of tithes and offerings is important because it is our opportunity to give back to God. We do so out of thankfulness and with a grateful heart because God Himself is a giver. John 3:16 says “For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son…” The Bible also says that we are created in the likeness of God; one of the attributes of God is that He is a giver.
