Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.

March - April 2011
Dear Friends:
Baptisms: Kingsmead Baptist Church, one of our church plants, uses our baptistery. At first they would come with about three rows of people, then four to five rows, but this past month they had four to baptize and ¾ of our auditorium was filled with young Christians and new believers. What joy to see this baby church growing!
Salvation: One Sunday a West Indian man came to visit our services. I was unable to get to him before he left and since it seemed that some of our other folks knew him, I asked, “What is his name?” Embarrassed, they replied, “We don’t know, we just call him “Beefy”! Well, Beefy continued to come and eventually I got his real name, Christian. One day as I spoke to him I asked more about his history and specifically where he stood with Christ. He was relying on infant baptism and church attendance. I spoke to him about Christ, but at that time he wasn’t clear about the difference. However, this past week, after talking with Danny Nelson, Christian actually became a Christian!
Praise: This year Gail and I mark 30 years as Baptist Bible Fellowship missionaries. It does not seem that we have been missionaries that long in some aspects, and much longer in others! But God has truly been gracious to us in allowing us such longevity of ministry in a missionary career. We will be getting our ruby pins at the Fellowship Meeting this year. Amazing!
Yours in Christ,
Tom and Gail Gritts
