Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.

April 29, 2011 Dear Pastors, Churches, and Prayer Partners,
We love you. Thank you for loving us. 1 John 4:11, 12 "Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another. No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us." WE are so thankful that His love is perfected in you, and you manifest it in your sacrifice to love and care for us. We have been the recipients of a great well of grace that God has given by your hands. We thank you for your hard work and the willingness to share the fruit thereof with us, for His glory. We can certainly tell you of many wonderful things that have happened in our ministry. The people that we invest our lives in continue to grow in grace, they are duplicating us, and we are seeing many souls saved. We are seeing much faithfulness in the ministry of Simpson Harbor Baptist Church, and its two mission works. Even though we were absent from the work for many months, (due to our significant medical drama) we saw that the things we had taught from the Word bore fruit. The work has flourished since our return, and we are reaching more and more into communities that were previously closed to us. God is great! Sometimes it feels like we are just holding on to Him and He is doing it all. Which is good, because we have seen anew, that He is really all we can count on. Money, health, and our plans fail, but Jesus never fails. We saw at least 5 (five) saved this last weekend at Easter Camp and believe much fruit in believers’ lives. A favorite song is, I Don’t Know About Tomorrow, but I do know Who holds me in His hand. A favorite passage is Matthew 6:34 “Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.” Both remind us of an important truth, I only need to concern myself with doing what the Father asks of me today, and He will guide me through all my tomorrows. We are dealing with some residuals from my wife’s brush with death and the health complications that have ensued. We are praising God for a great victory in our daughter Alisa’s health. We simply have given up predicting what we will do or not do, we seek His voice. For now we are so thankful for the continued opportunity to serve the Lord here in Papua New Guinea, in our ministries, and in the ministries of the senior Crotts, while they are in the States, on a too brief furlough, to raise much needed new support. Today I made a currency exchange that in times past would have given me 2,400 Kina, but today only gave me 1,800 Kina. The missing 600 Kina is a week”s power I cannot buy, or its a quarter of a car repair bill I cannot pay. This is compounded times four before the month is out. We still have a great outstanding medical debt and I am asking the Lord for His wisdom and leading for how best to satisfy this. 1 Timothy 5:8 "But if any provide not for his own, and specially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel." I may need to seek to satisfy this by the sweat of my brow. Though I hate to leave the work of the Lord, I am thankful to have my wife yet with me. God may provide another way, “speak Lord, for Thy servant heareth.” All that I mean to say in this, is thank you for praying.
All For Him, Rev. Richard L. Crotts II
