February Ladies Craft Night

Our February Craft Night will be Monday evening, February 6 starting at 7 PM. We will gather in the fellowship hall with our projects to spend an hour or two working and fellowshipping. We invite you to bring your favorite snack or refreshment to share as well. Don't have a hobby? Come and see what the other ladies are doing!

Annual Church Business Meeting

We will hold our annual business meeting during our Wednesday evening service on February 8th. This important meeting will address our election of officers, a financial review of 2011 and a look ahead at all of the events planned for 2012. All members are encouraged to attend and participate in this important evening as a church family.

College & Career Class Fellowship

Our College & Career class will have an evening of games and fellowship on Friday, February 10 at 6:30 PM. All class members are invited to come with a favorite snack, game and a visitor. We will end the evening with a discussion of Ephesians 6:10-18, so come prepared to talk about armour of God!

Homebuilders Progressive Dinner

The Homebuilders will be having a class activity on Saturday, Feb 11th at 4:30 PM. We will be gathering at the church to enjoy a progressive dinner! Join us for some great food and fellowship. Four States Couple Retreat

 

 

Make plans now to attend the upcoming Couple's Retreat in Branson, MO. This event is hosted by United Baptist Church of Springfield, MO and is a great ministry to married folks seeking God's plan for their homes. They have a great lineup of speakers this year, featurning Evangelist Bill Rice III from Bill Rice Ranch. The fee is $135 per couple covers registration and lodging.

Teen Class Babysitting Event

Calling all parents! Do you long for an evening out, but can’t find a reliable babysitter? Mark your calendar for Friday, Feb 24 when the teens will offer a free babysitting night here at the church. Bro. & Mrs. Ben Metsinger will oversee the event from 6:00 PM to 9:30 PM and ask all parents to bring your kids fed and happy. The teens will have a light snack for the kids and an evening of entertainment. See the Metsingers for details.

2012 Missions Conference

We have scheduled our annual Missions Conference for Wed-Sun , April 11-15. We will meet Wednesday - Friday at 7:00 PM for a sermon and a slide show from one of our missionaries. On Saturday, April 14, we will gather for an evening banquet featuring food from around the globe. Then on Sunday, April 15, we'll enjoy a day of Missions in the Lord's house. We have Missionary guests lined up and will announce their names in the comming weeks...Let's pray now for a great meeting.

Stillwater Men's Advance

All men need to consider attending the 2012 Stillwater Men's Advance held April 27-28. This is always a great trip filled with solid preaching and fellowship with over 1,000 other Baptist men from the midwest. Details are yet to be confirmed, but the cost will be around $65 per man. If you've never been to an Advance, talk to one of our men who have gone...this is one that you certainly won't want to miss.
